This infinite motion is used here to symbolize the passage of time and to make us feel the endlessness of it.

It is a process of constant expansion of energy.

As if the operation of energy that enables the maintenance of life is the most important...

The circle piece on the floor is a spiral. It characterizes the vital force, continuity, development and journey into the unknown.

The word spiral comes from the Latin “spirare” meaning “to breath”.

The circle piece in everlasting rotation over the spiral represents a supernatural motion that keeps our universe moving continuously.

Infinity is a meditation time piece, an invitation to breathe, to walk around it, to let ourself being part of this cosmic flow, and to let our mind being dissolved into eternity.

“Infinity(무한성)”은 움직임을 통해 ‘시간’이라는 새로운 개념을 만든다.

이 무한한 움직임은 시간의 흐름을 상징하고 시간의 무한함을 느끼게한다.

 

만물의 생명력, 연속성, 미지의 초자연적인 힘을 형상화한다.

 

매듭 기둥을 하나의 점으로 보고, 하나의 점을 얻기 위해 무한이 필요하다.

무한은 숫자가 아니며, 과정이다. 끝없이 커지는 과정이다.

점은 무한한 과정으로 만들어지는 존재이며 명사가 아니라 동사인 과정이다.

이것의 과정을 풀어 보자면,

실을 잡은 손이 기둥을 중심으로 회전(원운동)을 한다.

기둥은 구심점이 되고, 원의 중심방향으로 안쪽으로 당겨오면서

원운동의 궤도가 기둥에 그려진다.

마치 생명의 유지를 가능하게 하는 에너지의 운용이 가장 중요한 것처럼…

무한(Infinity)은 우리로 하여금 숨 쉬게 하고, 걷게 하고, 

우주적 흐름 안에서 우리의 마음을 영원으로 녹아 들게 하는 초대이다.
